I am preparing for the egg retrieval tomorrow morning. It will be at 9AM. It should take about an hour or so and I'll wake up and know how many eggs Dr. J retrieved. I have to start Crinone gel today to help my uterus to be sticky for the embryos, today is our last dose of doxycycline, and I have to do a beta dine wash this evening. Lots to do but it's so worth it!! I'm so excited for tomorrow to get here...I hope I sleep tonight!

No More Shots!
Today is my last lupron shot and my Ovidrel shot tonight!! I'm so happy to be done! I have plenty of bruises on my stomach to last me a while! I have to do the Ovidrel shot at 9:00PM on the dot! The shot has to be injected 36 hours prior to retrieval.
I also started my estrogen patches! I wear two patches and change them every three days.
What a relief to be done with the medication and shots. I do have to start crinone gel tomorrow, and do a betadine wash. It seems like it took forever to get here, and now the process is almost over! Dr. J is estimating probably around 15 eggs for sure, but maybe more! I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and find out how many we have!!! Jared, my grandma, and Jared's mom are going tomorrow. I know God's hand has been in this process every step of the way. He could've not allowed any of this to happen, but He did! I know Dr. J is doing all he can...and I know God will either give us His blessing or tell us to wait. This was just our journey, and it's been an amazing, exciting, stressful, peaceful, educating time in our life. I wouldn't change the journey for anything. People always think I'm crazy for saying that, but without this journey I wouldn't be where I am in my relationship with God. I wouldn't have the bond and closeness that Jared and I have now. I wouldn't be the strong woman that I am today. I thank God for this journey and for blessing us beyond what we could ever imagine all the way! Either way...God isn't changing and our relationship with Him isn't changing. He is the same today, tomorrow, and forever!!!

Scan Day!
I had another scan today and the 20 follicles are going strong! My estrogen level was almost 3800! That's crazy! I sat down with Courtney after my scan and went over all of the information for the egg retrieval. I'm so excited and nervous, but we are finally here!!

Triple Stripe, Yippee!!
I had my third ultrasound today...and it couldn't have been better! I have 20 follicles growing now! Dr. J said I was responding very well to the meds! I also had a triple stripe uterine lining. I haven't ever had that before, so I was pretty excited about that! I have read so much about triple stripe lining and now I could actually see what it really looks like! From what I have learned about it...a triple stripe is ideal for implantation! I also got to decrease my dose of follistim to only my usual 100 units in the morning and no evening shot!!! Yay!! I am so happy to be getting rid of at least one shot. So I'm down to two a day right now. My next ultrasound is Wednesday, and it's looking like I will have my egg retrieval Saturday morning. I'm excited and nervous for the retrieval, but people go through it everyday. I'm so excited I can't hardly see straight!

A friend, Tricia Larue, told me about this book entitled, Expecting: Praying for your Child's Development Body & Soul. By: Marla TavianoI'm so excited to have this book while on my pregnancy journey! How awesome to have something each week to pray about for the baby and myself. I highly recommend this book to anyone expecting or planning to have a baby! It's an amazing look into God's creation and what is most important in life...Jesus. Throughout my pregnancy each week I am going to post that week's devotional!
Devotional "Expecting: Praying for your Child's Development Body & Soul":
This first week is all about the uterine lining!
"Before I formed you in the womb I know you, before you were born I set you apart.) -Jeremiah 1:5
God, I know it's never too early to pray for my future children. Thoughts of motherhood have always had a place in my mind and heart. I'm not naïve enough to think it will be easy, but I know I can do this with you by my side. God, will you watch over my body as it prepares to welcome a child into my womb? Will you work everything out for good and make sure the conditions are just right for conception? I want to start praying even now for the child who will someday rest in our arms. Would you protect that baby? Would you help him/her grow up to be healthy and happy? To be a child who falls in love with Jesus and never stops growing in his/her relationship with you? Please give me the discipline to pray for my child every day for the rest of my life.

Happy Mother's Day!
We had a very fun Mother's Day this year! Jared's parents invited my family out to their house for dinner. We had a ton of wonderful food and lots of family! It was nice having both of our families there at the same time!!
My grandma is my role model. She is a Godly woman and she is always there for me. She has taught me about life, love, parenting, and most of all God. I can't imagine my life without her, and I thank God everyday for her! She is the best mother anyone could ask for! I love her very, very much!!!
My mother-in-law is also a wonderful woman! She is very loving, caring and compassionate. She raised a strong, independent, handsome, smart man that I call my husband. I thank God everyday for her raising such a wonderful man! I'm so blessed to have these wonderful women in my life.
I'm very thankful for such a wonderful family!
All I Wanted...
On top of all of that..I've been sick with allergies. I am finally starting to feel better, but not back to normal. My goal this week is to rest and get better for the egg retrieval Friday!! YAY! It's finally almost here! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow!! Hoping I get good news again!

How Many Are Growing?
I went to the doctor today and got good news...I have around 18 follicles that are growing! I was so excited, relieved, and wow 18!!! Everything looked good and I got to decrease my follistim dose in the evening. I'm getting to the point where I'm tired of the shots! They are totally ruling my life. We have a schedule of when to do them and making sure we are on time!! My skin is now very sensitive so it's uncomfortable when I get the shots. I have tons of little red dots all over my belly from the lupron and follistim shot. Thank goodness I haven't been brusing like I have in the past! This process is moving right along and it will be over before I know it! Even though I'm uncomfortable and nauseus at times...I'm still thanking God for the process. He is taking care of me and comforting me! God is our strength!
