He Has Risen!

Happy Easter!!!

We have had a great Easter weekend! Jared's whole family was in town and they always have Easter at his mom and dad's farm in Caledonia. It was rainy Saturday, but that didn't stop the boys from four-wheeler riding...and they were muddy!! Sunday we spent most of the day at the farm and then went to eat at my grandparents that evening!

Our Consult Appt.

We had our consult appt. today with Dr. J. We went over our last two cycles and and he talked with us about what we can do next. It was totally up to us but his medical opinion was to not spend anymore money on IUI since it has a lower success rate. We talked about all the steps involved in IVF. I asked a ton of questions (imagine that) about everything. We made the decision right then to go through with it next cycle. I got my protocol and they scheduled all of our dates for the appointments. We met with Ashley and talked over all of the financial information. It was a blessing being directed to this clinic. Ashley worked at Dr. Wilbois' office when I was going to him before he retired. She is the most caring, compassionate person and I feel like I've made a lifelong friend! I'm so thankful for Ashley!

Bad News Again...

I got the call at 4:00PM today that my blood test was negative. I knew already that it was. I wasn't disappointed just ready for the next step. I think it also helped that Karsyn & Kaia were visting this week and we were at the mall shopping when I got the call. I didn't have much time to think about it. Dr. J talked to me and said he would like to meet with Jared and I in a couple weeks to go over everything and decide what is next.

Second IUI

We had our second IUI today at 11:00AM. Dr. J said everything looked good and we are praying it works this time. If it doesn't I'm just so excited to be on our way to our end goal, a baby. God is in control of this no matter what. If he wants this to be it will be. He knows best even when we think he doesn't! I'm resting in the fact that he has a plan for us and everything happens for a reason!

IUI Scan #3

Today is my 3rd and final scan before the procedure. I was nervous going in because I knew that we very well could be cancelled at this point. My appointment went great! God answered the specificity's of my  prayers. My lining was up to 9.41mm. and my estrogen went way up as well. I praised God like I do everytime I leave the doctors office. Our IUI in scheduled for Monday at 11:00AM. I'm excited and more relaxed this time since I know what to expect. Even though we have had some bumps in the road, I know that God led us to this point.
